Step-3: Register for a Tax Identification Number

3.1 After registering as a new taxpayer on the TPOS system, the Applicant will need to log into the account.

3.2 Once the Applicant has changed the Applicant's password and is logged into the TPOS portal, the Applicant will be directed to the dashboard.3.3 Select the " Get a TIN" option or a similar service on the portal's main interface and press “Go.”

3.4 Provide Required Information. Depending on whether the entity is an individual or a non-individual (company, trust, non-profit, etc.), the system will prompt the applicant to provide specific information.

3.5 Upon successful submission, the system will generate a confirmation screen displaying that the application has been received

3.6 FRCS will verify that the application has been received.

3.7 If the application is approved, the Applicant will be issued a TIN, and a notification will be sent to the applicant's registered email address.
